Martin Stanley back in UK
Martin Stanley, the man charged with the reengineering of the Turks and Caicos Islands Public Sector has returned to the United Kingdom after passing on the baton to new Chief Executive, Mark Capes, a former Deputy Governor of Bermuda.
Since the handing over of the public sector operations to Capes, some members of the public, especially those keen to know about the day-to-day operations of the Interim Government’s operation have been making queries to this newspaper as to Stanley’s fate.
Some argued that Stanley was thrust into other operations of Government, but when contacted, Christine Shearer, Director Press & Public Affairs in the Governor's Office, disclosed that Stanley had returned to the UK from October.
“Mr Stanley departed the TCI last month when Mr. Capes arrived. He is back in the United Kingdom,” Shearer explained.
